Privacy notice

Clear about what is stored.

You can create and review a patio plan without an account. Patio Plan separates the project saved in your browser from optional feedback and interest signups.

Last reviewed 28 July 2026.

Your active project

Measurements, site answers, assumptions, price edits and checklist progress are stored in your browser's local storage. This keeps the plan available after a refresh on the same device and browser.

The active project is not cloud storage and does not follow you to another device. Use “Reset project” on the results page, or clear browser storage, to remove it.

Anonymous product analytics

Patio Plan records allowlisted events such as opening the planner, calculating a result or copying a summary. These events help assess which parts of the product are useful.

Product analytics do not contain names, email addresses, free text, full URLs, IP addresses, full user agents, visitor identifiers or cross-session tracking. Patio Plan does not set analytics cookies.

Feedback and project-pack interest

Feedback is submitted only when you choose to send it. A report can include its type, your message, an optional email address and basic technical context such as page and viewport.

A project-pack interest signup stores the email address you submit and its consent context. That email is used only to measure and follow up on interest in the proposed pack.

Infrastructure and retention

Cloudflare provides hosting, the anonymous product-event store and the database used for optional feedback and interest signups. Analytics Engine currently has a three-month retention period.

Feedback and interest records are retained while they are useful for product validation. This notice will be updated before Patio Plan introduces materially different data processing.
